Overview

Welcome to the Artemis Pro documentation. This page explains what Artemis Pro is, the problem it solves, and maps every module in the indicator.

What Is Artemis Pro

Artemis Pro is an invite-only TradingView indicator for intraday price-action trading. It is a single-chart overlay that works on all major markets and reads any liquid market on any timeframe. Note: the engine tracks what big money is doing, so it needs markets where big money actually trades. Stick to actively traded instruments and steer clear of thin ones like penny stocks and micro-caps. It is intended for chart timeframes from 1 to 15 minutes and replaces half a dozen separate tools with one coherent read of the market:

ModuleWhat it gives you
Trend engineTrend-colored candles driven by an SSL channel, with pattern-forced flips and a contrast fill on indecisive candles
Pattern engine12 signal types across 10 candlestick patterns, each with its own color and label
Liquidity linesPivot-based swing highs and lows with mitigation tracking, expiry, liquidity-grab detection, and confirmed Setup Long/Short
Session contextAsia, London, and New York session boxes with first-hour opening ranges and session high/low lines
HTF levelsThe current and previous week's highs and lows plus the current day open, anchored at their true origins with compact tags: CWH, CWL, PWH, PWL, CDO
HTF candlesUp to four higher timeframes rendered as mini-candles next to price, running the same pattern engine with the same colors and labels
HTF info tableA live on-chart table with one column per enabled timeframe: countdown to candle close, direction, and active signal, with the indicator version in the footer
Daily biasA visual-only Bias: Bullish or Bias: Bearish label for the current day's lean — context, not a signal
Backtesting outputsAll internal states exposed as 15 series in the TradingView Data Window, deterministic on bar close, for strategy wrappers or external analysis

Need help?

What is an SSL channel?

In Artemis Pro, it is a trend filter made from two simple moving averages: one of recent candle highs and one of recent candle lows. A decisive close above the upper average sets an uptrend, while a decisive close below the lower average sets a downtrend. The Trend Speed setting determines how many candles the averages use (10 by default). See Trend Engine for the complete logic.

The Noise Problem

Most intraday setups die by committee: a trend indicator says long, an oscillator says overbought, a pattern scanner flags something three bars late, and a support/resistance script buries the chart in zones. Each tool speaks its own language, and reconciling them costs you the seconds that intraday trading does not give you.

Artemis Pro takes the opposite approach. Trend, patterns, liquidity, sessions, and higher timeframes are computed together and drawn in one visual language directly on the candles. When a reversal pattern fires at a swept liquidity level against the session backdrop, you see all of it in a single glance at one chart, not by cross-checking four panels.

Decision Support, Not Autopilot

Decision support, not autopilot

Artemis Pro marks context and patterns, and flags one confluence: a validated reversal pattern inside a fresh liquidity grab. Everything beyond that read is yours.

That narrow scope is a design decision, not a missing feature. The indicator does the reading: it colors the trend, labels confirmed patterns on bar close, tracks liquidity levels, and escalates the one moment where a pattern lands in freshly swept liquidity into a confirmed setup. What it never does is size the trade, time your exit, or weigh the news calendar for you. That part stays with the trader.

If you are looking for a tool that pings your phone with entries, Artemis Pro is not that tool. If you want one overlay that compresses the market into a read you can act on, keep going.

What Artemis Pro Is Not

Artemis Pro has no confidence percentage, no order blocks, no fair value gaps, no oscillator, and no screener integration.

That restraint is deliberate. A pattern label is a fact about the chart; a trade is a decision that needs context the indicator cannot weigh for you — the session, the higher-timeframe picture, your own risk plan. Treating every pattern as an entry invites blind execution and implies an edge the label alone does not carry. Artemis Pro instead makes the context legible, highlights its highest-confluence setup, and leaves the decision where it belongs — with you.

Recommended First Chart

Artemis Pro works across all major markets and timeframes. For your first session, a fast, liquid chart shows the engine at its best:

SettingRecommendation
SymbolAny liquid major market — for example AAPL, EURUSD, NQ futures, or Gold
Timeframe5 minutes
Chart themeDark

The dark theme matters more than it sounds: the neon color scheme — neon green and neon red trend candles, the signature pattern colors — is tuned for dark backgrounds. On a light theme the chart is readable but loses most of its contrast.

The session modules follow the Asia, London, and New York trading day; if your instrument keeps different hours, the session windows are adjustable in the settings. See Supported Markets And Charts for per-market guidance.

Updating

Script updates are published on the same invite-only publication. When a new version is available, TradingView displays an Update Available button next to Artemis Pro on the chart. Click the button to load the new version; there is nothing to reinstall, and your existing settings are preserved. If the button does not appear on a chart that has been open for a long time, refresh the TradingView browser tab and check again.

After updating, confirm that the new version is running by checking the version number in the footer row of the HTF info table on the chart.
